Built in 1885, our barns have stood through generations — from their agricultural roots to the storied walls they are today. There's a certain kind of privilege in celebrating new moments inside walls this old; and that's what The Nut & Owl is all about: honouring history while creating new memories, one celebration at a time.

Here's to the stories these walls have seen, and the ones still to come. Happy Heritage Day from The Nut and Owl 🦉

Nothing brings us more joy than watching family and friends gather to celebrate a bride-to-be as she prepares for her new adventure! 🥂✨👰‍♀️

Roné’s kitchen tea was filled with so much warmth, laughter, and thoughtful moments that turn into lifelong memories. It’s an honour to host these special milestones and provide a setting where you can simply relax and cherish every second.

Planning a kitchen tea for someone special? We’d love to help you host an unforgettable celebration. Send us a message or schedule a viewing to start planning!

Honouring history and the stories that meander through our valley. 🌿 Here are a few moments from the Blue Plaque heritage unveiling of the Scrooby Barns at The Nut and Owl last weekend.

A heartfelt thank you to the Magaliesberg Association for Culture & Heritage for facilitating and bringing this entire milestone to life, as well as guest speakers Vincent Carruthers and André Wedepohl for sharing their invaluable knowledge and passion.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Odette and Olivia Scrooby for performing the official unveiling of the plaque itself.

From inspiring words to wonderful connection with everyone who joined us, it was a remarkable gathering of community, memory, and heritage.

Thank you to all who came out to mark this special occasion with us! ✨
