Milling machinist required to operate a conventional Milling Machine with Digital readout in a manufacturing environment in Randburg.
Must be competent in machining accurately to drawing, keyways and hole pitching on a dividing head.
Must be able to work unsupervised and have a good knowledge of cutter use and feeds and speeds.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team.

About the job
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance and repair, plus installation and commissioning of both locally manufactured and imported equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs and is a team player.

Responsibilities
Carry out final assembly and pre delivery testing of equipment at our works.
Install, commission and train customers on all PMD and imported machinery.
Carry out regular preventative maintenance on site.
Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
5+ years' installing and maintaining packaging machines
Ability to travel
Strong electro-mechanical background.
