Celebrating Heritage Day in Parys.

Today we celebrate the people, places, traditions and stories that make South Africa the incredible country we call home.

Our heritage is found in the diversity of our communities, the landscapes we call home and the memories and traditions passed from one generation to the next.

Here in Parys, the Vaal River, the Vredefort Dome and our close-knit community form an important part of what makes this town so special.

Today, we celebrate where we come from, who we are and the many different stories that come together to make South Africa what it is.

A great day on the fairways

The SAB Golf Day at Parys Golf & Country Estate was a fantastic day of golf, good company and plenty of friendly competition.

With the beautiful course providing the perfect setting, golfers enjoyed taking on the fairways, testing their game and making the most of a day out on the course.
There was a little sunshine, a little rain, but nothing could take away from the great atmosphere and enjoyment of the day.

Celebrating RW Koekemoer’s Golf Achievements

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the recent golf achievements of RW Koekemoer, a current member of Parys Golf & Country Estate.

RW has been selected to represent the Vaaldriehoek Schools Team at the SA Schools Tournament in Mbombela (Nelspruit) from 27 to 30 September 2026.
He has also been selected to compete in the Noordvaal Final Tournament in Middelburg on 6 October 2026.

Being selected for both of these events is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the hard work RW continues to put into his game.
These achievements are a wonderful reflection of his dedication, commitment and development as a young golfer, and we are proud to see a member of our club competing at this level.
