📢 SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL MARKETING OPPORTUNITY — DURBAN
Are you based in Durban and looking for in-service training, practical marketing experience, or an opportunity to prove your social media skills?
We are looking for TWO motivated people to join our new office in Durban C*D, close to the ICC.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidates will be involved mainly in:
* Growing and managing social media pages
* Creating and posting engaging content
* Responding to WhatsApp messages and enquiries
* Handling calls and communicating with customers
* Promoting our brands and services online
* Using AI tools to improve content creation and marketing
* Helping turn social media attention into customers and sales
This is a practical, performance-based opportunity. You will not only be expected to post content—you will be expected to help grow the businesses.

2. iFlat
3. Mona Market
4. Follow If You Like Travelling

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should:
* Be confident and comfortable using social media
* Understand Facebook and other major social platforms
* Be familiar with AI tools for content creation and marketing
* Not be afraid to appear on camera
* Be creative and willing to experiment
* Be comfortable communicating with customers
* Be willing to learn and work independently
* Have your own smartphone, tablet or laptop
Experience as a Runner, social media seller, online seller, content creator or business owner will be an advantage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
* Matric is required
* A diploma or degree will be an advantage
* Applicants seeking in-service training are welcome to apply
* You may also apply if you are not looking for formal in-service training but want practical experience in digital marketing and social media
PRACTICAL SELECTION TEST
Shortlisted applicants will be tested virtually before being selected.
You will be given a page with fewer than 100 followers.
Your challenge will be to grow the page to more than 300 followers within 5 days.
We are interested in seeing your:
* Creativity
* Initiative
* Understanding of social media
* Ability to attract and engage an audience
* Ability to use available tools, including AI
* Speed of learning
* Results
Those who perform exceptionally well will be considered for the position.
WORKING HOURS
Monday – Saturday
08:00 – 17:00
The successful candidates will be required to work from our office in Durban C*D, close to the ICC.
STIPEND & PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE
Basic stipend: R1,000 per month
When agreed performance targets are achieved, an additional performance incentive of up to R1,500 may be earned.
Total potential monthly stipend + performance incentive: up to R2,500
START DATE: Successful candidates will start on 15 October 2026
