Thursday was wet and grey outside, but warm and welcoming inside the Bistro. 🍷

Our guests arrived to a glass of sparkling w**e before settling in for a relaxed tasting with pioneering w**emaker Neil Ellis. It was a real privilege to hear him share the stories, knowledge and experiences gathered throughout his remarkable career.

With mini charcuterie boards on the tables, good conversation flowing and the rain falling around us, it turned into such a lovely, cosy afternoon✨

We ended with warm Glühwein; the perfect final touch on a chilly day. 🌿

Thank you to Mr Neil Ellis, Van Loveren w**es and to everyone who joined us. It was a truly special afternoon at Burnedale Bistro. ❤️

Join pioneering w**emaker Neil Ellis for an intimate afternoon of exceptional w**e and fascinating stories. Known for seeking out the Cape vineyards best suited to each variety, Neil helped put Groenekloof on the w**e map and produced the first certified w**e from cool-climate Elgin.
