Beef Lasagne
Meat Sauce
2 tblsp Oil
1 Lrg Onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic,crashed
125g finely chopped bacon
509g Beef Mince
100g Sliced mushrooms
410g can diced tomatoes
1 beef stock cube
5ml mixed herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Lasagne sheets
Grated cheddar cheese
Method
1. Fry onion and garlic. Add bacon and mince,and fry until lightly brown.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients
3. Simmer for 25 minutes
White Sauce
100g Butter
159ml Flour
3 Cups milk
Salt and pepper
Method:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour and cook for one minute.
2. Add milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Layering Method
1. In a greased oven dish,spread a thin layer of white sauce, then layer lasagne sheet,then thin layer of meat sauce.
2. Continue layering in this order until all of the ingredients are used,then finish with a layer of white sauce.
3. Sprinkle grated cheese and dry parsley over white sauce.
4. Set aside while pre heating oven to 180°C
5. Bake for 30 minutes and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving
