Ideally, applicants should have at least 1 year of hospitality or café experience and good barista skills. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

A huge thank you to the judges and everyone who has supported us. We've worked hard to create a welcoming outdoor space for everyone to enjoy, and we're thrilled that it's been recognised.

Why not come and experience our award-winning garden for yourself? Relax at one of our outdoor tables while the children enjoy our FREE giant bricks and large building bricks to play with. It's the perfect place to unwind with a coffee, cake, or lunch while the little ones have fun.

💔 Everyone at Brickhaus has this family very much in our thoughts today. They are all part of the extended Brickhaus family. We are incredibly grateful that no one was hurt, but the impact of losing a home and everything in it is truly devastating, and the challenges ahead will be significant.

Meet the AMAZING Team Behind Brickhaus! ❤️ Thank you for your incredible hard work, dedication and commitment to making our first year such a success. 💙🧱

Today I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the incredible team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the Brickhaus experience what it is. We all enjoyed a well-deserved Team Thank You BBQ in the café garden on Sunday 5th July, after another busy weekend.

While our customers have their sets delivered to their tables, ready for hours of fun, this amazing team is busy doing the hard work that makes it all possible. They've now taken apart over 10,000 sets in our first year, carefully dismantling each build, checking every set, washing, organising and storing everything so it's ready for the next build.

Their work means our customers can enjoy seamless sessions, with many fitting in two, three or even four builds during their visit. They're the people who make sure those missing pieces are found, every set is complete, and every order meets the standard our customers have come to expect from Brickhaus. Their dedication, care and attention to detail are second to none, and the work they do is absolutely essential to everything we do.

Their commitment ensures every family and customer receives the best possible experience, every single time. It takes patience, teamwork and an incredible work ethic—and they deliver it day in, day out.

I couldn't be prouder of this fantastic team. Thank you for everything you do. You truly are the engine room behind Brickhaus. ❤️🧱

🎉 Brickhaus is ONE! 🎉

Today we celebrate our first birthday, and we simply want to say... THANK YOU! ❤️

To every single customer who has walked through our doors over the past year, thank you for your incredible support, loyalty, and encouragement. From day one, our goal was to bring something a little different to Wellington, and thanks to you, Brickhaus has become so much more than just a café. It's been an absolute pleasure meeting so many wonderful people who have made this journey so enjoyable.

We're especially proud that for many of you, Brickhaus has become a place where you can unwind, be creative, connect with friends and family, and simply feel at home. Hearing that we've created a safe, welcoming space that people look forward to visiting week after week means more than words can say.

A huge thank you goes to Robyn, Shaunie and our amazing team, whose passion, hard work, and dedication ensure every customer has an enjoyable and memorable experience. You are the heart of Brickhaus, and we couldn't do it without you.

We're also incredibly grateful to our fantastic suppliers who help make Brickhaus what it is. Thank you to Nikki at Pyne's Pastries for the fabulous cakes, delicious sausage rolls made with the finest Tim Potter meat, and, of course, the infamous gingerbread that so many of you love.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to my mum and my sister. Brickhaus simply wouldn't be what it is today without the two of you. Mum, thank you for creating the beautiful, peaceful garden that has become such a special part of the Brickhaus experience. Your vision, hard work, and countless hours have given our customers a tranquil place to relax, enjoy a coffee, and make memories. Sarah, thank you for everything you've done to transform the inside of the café into the welcoming, high-standard space it is today. From making sure everything looked just right to ensuring everything worked exactly as it should, your dedication, attention to detail, and tireless effort have been incredible. The standard that Brickhaus is known for is a reflection of the care you've both put into it. I honestly couldn't have done any of this without you both, and I'll never be able to thank you enough for believing in me and helping turn this dream into a reality. ❤️

On a personal note, I'd also like to thank my incredible friends (Jim and Nick) for all your help and support over the year, our amazing team, and every one of our customers. You've all played such a big part in making this first year so special, and I truly hope it's just the beginning of a long and exciting journey together.
