Good Evening Whitchurch!

Well then… who’s joining us tomorrow for England v DR Congo in the World Cup?

Kick-off is 5pm, so get yourselves down early, grab a good seat, a nice cold pint and soak up the atmosphere before the football starts.

Smashed Kitchen will be open all day, serving up their gorgeous burgers, loaded fries and smoky hot dogs, so if you’re planning on making an afternoon of it, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve got five screens to choose from, free pool every Wednesday, plenty of seating, and if the tension gets a bit too much, our beautiful beer garden is only a few steps away for a quick breather before diving back into the action.

I’ll have the football tunes playing before kick-off to get everyone in the mood, then it’s over to England to do the rest.

Whether you’re cheering every tackle, celebrating every goal or shouting at the referee, come and enjoy the match with us.

Who’s joining us today?

We’re open from 12pm, and so is Smashed Kitchen, serving up their incredible burgers, loaded fries and the delicious Smoky Sausage Hot Dog. If you’re after something a little lighter, we’ve also got chicken & stuffing baps, cheese & red onion baps, and BBQ pulled pork baps available at the bar.

Then from 4pm, we’ve got the brilliant Mister 2 Tone bringing all the ska and reggae classics. Expect Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, UB40, Bob Marley and plenty more to keep you singing along.

Whether we’re soaking up the sunshine in the beer garden or bringing the party indoors, it’s always a cracking afternoon at The Greyhound.

July’s only a few days away, so we thought we’d get our listings out nice and early for you.

We’ve got another fantastic month lined up at The Greyhound, with something happening every single weekend. From Northern Soul & Motown and 70s & 80s Disco afternoons, to brilliant live bands covering rock, pop, blues, reggae and all your favourite classics, there’s plenty to look forward to.

Good morning, Whitchurch.

The weekend’s only just around the corner, and if you’re looking for somewhere to relax in the sunshine, our beer garden is looking absolutely beautiful. The hanging baskets are in full bloom, the flowers are looking incredible, and it’s such a lovely spot to sit back with an ice-cold drink.

Feeling peckish? Why not treat yourself to something from our Smashed Kitchen menu? From our famous Oklahoma Smash Burger to loaded fries and our delicious Smoky Hot Dog, we’ve got plenty to keep you going.

And don’t forget, it’s another fantastic weekend of live music at The Greyhound.

Saturday 4pm
Raving Daisies bring a brilliant afternoon of rock, pop and all those guilty pleasure songs everyone loves to sing along to.

Sunday 4pm
Mr Two Tone returns with an afternoon of ska and reggae classics from Bad Manners, The Specials, UB40, Bob Marley, Madness and more. Having played some of the UK’s biggest reggae and ska festivals, and even supported Ziggy Marley, you’re in for a cracking afternoon.

Here’s hoping the sunshine stays with us so we can enjoy both afternoons outside in our beautiful beer garden.

👋 We’re back!

Not exactly the fresh start I had planned for 2026, but after our old account was compromised, we’re officially back and starting from scratch.

So while we’re rebuilding, I thought I’d properly introduce us…

We’re lucky enough to have over 80 pubs across the UK. Some are sports bars packed out on matchdays, some are community locals where everybody knows everybody, and some are food pubs serving up some seriously good grub.

But whilst every pub is completely different, my favourite thing about them all is the people behind them.

Every pub has its own personality. Some are football-mad, some are all about food, some are at the heart of their local community, but every single one has a story worth telling.

Over the next few months, I’ll be taking you behind the scenes of our pubs, introducing you to some brilliant managers, sharing community stories, showing off the amazing things happening across the group and probably causing the occasional bit of social media chaos along the way.
