Very comfortable place inside a small area of jungle.

We visited Bal Nak our first night in Tulum.

This restaurant hands down was our favorite dinner experience in Tulum!

“The manager came out before our meal to tell us all about this incredible restaurant. Every ingredient was sustainably sourced from different regions in Mexico and were prepared in the traditional Mexican way. Great atmosphere and dishes!

“We got the octopus, short rib, jungle salad, mussels, chicken and two desserts and split everything between the table. My favorites were our churro desert, short rib and potatoes that came with this octopus but it was all amazing. Everything came out super fast too. Definitely recommend!” via Google reviews.

An excellent meal from start to finish!

“We tried three different cocktails, an app, two entrees, and four desserts (there were two of us - it was ridiculous but necessary bc the dessert menu has too many fascinating options 😅), all of which were done to perfection! Bonus, they even had decaf espresso to go with dessert! The service from Santos was amazing, and the environment was gorgeous, even in the pouring rain! “We came as a larger group (7 people), and were seated in more secluded rear Jungle portion of the restaurant. The service was great, with very good recommendations for drink and dishes. We were all very happy with our drinks, and we shared food, 4 apps, and 5 entrees. Every dish was lovely, something for everyone and not a single dish we didn’t like!” Via OpenTable.
