America's Taco Shop In 2008 we decided that there was an opportunity to open a restaurant that serves Mexican food that is authentic to my hometown of Culiacan, Sinaloa Mexico.

On October 20th, 2008 (our 7 year wedding anniversary), we opened our first America's Taco Shop. When America Corrales, the visionary behind the authentic Mexican fare of America's Taco Shop®, first came to the U.S. from her native Mexico, her most precious possession was a collection of her mother's hand-written recipes. For nine years, America shared these authentic, flavorful Mexican foods only with her friends and husband Terry Bortin. Terry would sit and enjoy America’s meals at their kitchen table in Phoenix, Arizona where they would dream together about someday serving these home-cooked meals in a fast food Mexican restaurant of their own. That dream became a reality in 2008, when America and Terry opened the first America's Taco Shop in Phoenix. It was an instant smash hit and it didn't take long for customers to flock to America's Taco Shop for their unmatched Carne Asada.

At America’s Taco Shop, we believe great Carne Asada starts with great beef.

We are currently paying the highest price we’ve ever paid per pound for the cut of beef we use for our Carne Asada. While rising beef costs have been challenging, we simply aren’t willing to compromise on the quality of our ingredients or reduce the portions our guests have come to expect.

Because of this, we’ve had to make a small price increase on a few of our beef menu items.

We appreciate your understanding and, most importantly, your continued support. We’re crossing our fingers that beef prices come back down soon—and when they do, we’ll be just as happy as you are!

WE’RE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🌮

New home. New look. Same amazing food. ❤️

After 15 years in our previous home, we packed up, relocated, and somehow made it happen in just 10 days — and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into our new space!

📍 3554 N. Goldwater Blvd., Scottsdale

We’re only about 1/4 of a mile south of our previous location, in the same shopping center as Starbucks, Staples & Walgreens, just north of Osborn.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, checked in on us, and cheered us on during this whirlwind move. We’re incredibly grateful for our community and so excited for this next chapter.

The doors are open, the tacos are ready, and we can’t wait to see you! 🌮❤️
