has been feeling so good lately. we have all worked so hard to make this little spot thrive. thank you endlessly to my team that makes being the bar and food creator and conductor possible. it’s been a really long journey in a short period of time with so many pivots and letting go. we have made so many new friends and lost some too. growth hurts sometimes and lately we have really seen the effect of just letting our little bar be what it is. allowing it to be its own spirit and not forcing anything. it’s for the people and always will be. we will always make sure ANYONE can come and enjoy! whether you have less than twenty dollars to your name (we are here and will always feed you) or a pop icon. you will always feel welcome, fed and safe and never pushed out or rushed. community and hospitality is what we all need more of. i love you all (especially your dogs, hehe) and thank you for accepting our vision. thankfully yours, chef ally

Hi everyone,

After lots of hiding and diving into my work I’ve realized I’ve left so many wonderful people behind in Seattle. I wanted to update you and give you some yummy content!

For the last 10 months I have fully submerged myself into a restaurant in Los Angeles. It was all just meant to be a residency pop up for a few months but the neighborhood has spoken and Jim and James is here to stay. I am now an owner of a restaurant again and throwing my all into a single space often forgetting everyone I love including myself. It’s been a huge undertaking and I finally feel like I can step back and watch it grow and bloom. The team I work with has been such a cosmic gift that I truly believe it’s all in devine timing.

I couldn’t be happier to call East Hollywood home and living my dream of running a restaurant again. I am the chef and beverage director which is just my recipe of insanity and I want to start sharing it with all of you back home.

This is a brunch dish I call the farmers bowl. Each week I got to Santa Monica to pick out the very best produce this state has to offer. This dish always highlights what’s left after a long busy week: seasonal vegetables and greens, local beans stewed to perfection, roasted sweet potatoes and of course delicious flowers. Anyone that knows me well or my food well knows this dish too.

Expect to see more of me on here, I’m back after much slumber from this page… let me know what you wanna see in the comments!

July Menu! See you Monday from 4pm-9pm at Trade Winds Tavern in Belltown. First come first served as always :).

We are joining w/ this month! They will be offering an amazing cake! Come check out their hard work and continue to meet more vegan chefs in Seattle.

We are also super excited to be working w/ tortillas for the tacos.

Lots of gluten and nut free offerings. Patio is all ages. Take out options.
