I'm under a hard Monday deadline to get the final page proofs finished, and my assistant is sleeping on the job! I hope this doesn't mean it put her to sleep! Or maybe she fainted from some of stories!

Welp, I just hit send on the last round of edits for "The Cheese Biscuit Queen: Kiss My Aspic!". I'll get one more look at her in September when all the page proofs are ready, and then she'll make her debut seven months from today... February 18, 2025!!!

On the day 80 years ago, my father, Chief Warrant Officer Felix B. Greene landed in a glider near St. Mere Eglise France in the 319th Glider Artillery Division of the 82nd Airborne. Most of these pictures are from my trip to Normandy in October of 2022.

As my oldest goddaughter Windy Key said after she and her husband toured Normandy "Who knew Felix was a bad ass?" But they all were, each and every one of them who served and saved Democracy.

For those of you that know the story about Al Boland and the possum, we found this at the house week. What radio station had the giant possum as their mascot??? (And the WHOLE possum story is in the next book!)

A wonderful night last night making champagne mustard and telling stories at the fabulous Story and Song in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Saw lots of great friends including my cousin Barbara Edwards and Suzanne Mickler, and my dear friend Joe Palmer - Author. If you are ever in the area, it is a fabulous store, cafe and event space.

They made several recipes from the cookbook, including the ever popular "Cheese and Jelly Stuff", otherwise known as Rosalyn Carter's strawberry cheese ring. I loved their presentation of it, and may be trying it that way for future events!

I'm speaking at the Amelia Island Book Festival Youth Writing Awards and Scholarship presentation today -- WISH ME LUCK!

Thrilled to announce that the Press Committee at USC Press has unanimously approved my next book for publication -- likely in the early Spring of 2025. The working title is "The Cheese Biscuit Queen: I don't believe I'd have told THAT!" and this is my inpression of my Mother's face when she found out some of the stories I includeded! I can't wait for y'all to read it!
