Wilson School Garden was started around the year 2000 by Lynn Hammond who currently cooks in the Wilson School Cafeteria. Shelly Jenkins then took over and the garden grew. Sonya Chonczynski now heads the garden and is looking for someone to take over this year. The student plant potatoes, turnips, squash, carrots and a variety of herbs that are harvested and brought to the cafeteria and incorporated into the school lunches.
