“Double Love”

I can only imagine the closeness and love twins feel for each other. They share this unique bond since they existed. I have had the privilege to watch such an exceptional relationship grow through my best friend Bridin Reynolds.

This photo is one of my favorite pictures I captured of her twins. It truly shows the pure connection they have for each other. I wanted to dedicate today’s posting to Bridin and her wonderful twins who turn 11 years old today. Happy Birthday Keegan and Nolan! You both are such extraordinary boys. Not certain you have to be the daughter, granddaughter, daughter in law and God mother to a jar head to get this but let's just say the sentiment runs deep in this family...
Comparing haircuts,
Nolan:Your's is NOT as high and tight as mine, Keegan.
Keegan: I am going to tell Pop Pop Mike you were making fun of me!
Nolan: Go ahead. He will agree with me. And that is a fact, Jack.

So there are some modest perks to being a friend of our little site....
Humbled and happy to announce to you all first the final DE book signing of Overheard From My Kitchen will be the afternoon of Th. Jan 30 at none other than my former restaurant The Riverview Treehouse.
While it is now a completely different business the company Lab Ware which took over the space years ago are gracious to have the twins and I invite you to come see the gorgeous river scenery, possibly bring back some memories. We will be personalizing books and, of course, complimentary Treehouse brownies all around!

A little background...the boys are going downstate for Thanksgiving so I am planning to work and work...
Keegan: Mom, may I have your credit card?
Me: Umm, why?
Keegan: Well, I need to make you a Black Friday kit. So I need to order pepper spray, steel toe boots and a big frying pan for the real idiots!
It came out much sweeter than it reads:)
