We had a special little guest this weekend while mommy and daddy were out of town. 🥰 She loves her pink gardening tools and especially loves helping water the “fwowers”🌸 with her own little watering can. Precious times!

I didn’t fully get it when I was a kid. My grandma’s love for being outside in her big garden and with her flowers in patches all over her large yard.

But I did enjoy walking around that yard with her and my mom while they chatted about how everything was growing. I learned so much from them during those conversations.

I only wish I had at least a few photos from those walks and talks. Back then we didn’t have cell phones to capture every move we made. 😄

But we have the memories. Such fond memories.

And now I fully understand what time in her garden was doing for my grandma’s soul.

The fresh air.
The sun.
And The Son.
The chirping birds.
The fluttering butterflies.

Not to mention the appreciation of His creation. The detail in each little flower, plant and vegetable.

I get it even more now, Grandma.

Thank you for sharing your love of gardening with me. It’s a balm to my soul.

And now, as a grandma myself, I hope to share this love with my grandkids.

🎨🌸 It's never too late to rediscover something you once loved.

Last week, two sweet friends and I took a Watercolor Basics class at Lanis and Co. taught by my talented friend, Arina.

When I was in middle school and high school, I loved art. A few months ago, I happened to run into my middle school art teacher, and she asked me what art I had been creating lately.

Honestly...other than flowers and the occasional craft project, I really hadn't been.

That conversation stayed with me.

So when I saw Arina's watercolor class, I signed up. It felt like the perfect place to begin again.

We spent the evening learning about watercolor tools and supplies, practicing techniques, and—of course—painting flowers. 🌸 (No surprise there!) It was such a fun reminder that being creative isn't about perfection. It's about trying something new, learning, and enjoying the process.

A huge thank you to Arina for sharing your talent and creating such a welcoming space for beginners.

This is a heartfelt THANK YOU! to our friends at Heels Boutique.💛

Today I stopped by with a bouquet from the Honeybee garden for Rosemary and Allie to thank them for something far more valuable than business...their friendship and support over the years.

For many of you, Heels has been more than a place to shop. For me, it's been a place where Rosalee 🛻has been welcomed for special events, where I was invited to set up flower pickups inside the store, and where we've shared so many fun memories together.

After 18 wonderful years, Heels Boutique will be closing its doors on August 15. While it's always hard to see a locally owned business close, I'm so grateful for the kindness and encouragement they've shown me and so many other small businesses along the way.

✨ Heels Last Bash! is tonight beginning at 5:00 PM. If you're local, stop by, say hello, celebrate Rosemary and Allie, and thank them for all they've given to the Wildwood community over the past 18 years.

If you can't make it tonight, there's still time to visit before they close on August 15.

Rosalee 🛻 is there set up as a beautiful photo op as part of the 100th anniversary celebration of Route 66!

But the real showstoppers are the gorgeous fountainscapes, water gardens, gorgeous flowers, koi and more! So fun to experience it all!

It's been a minute since I've introduced myself, so I wanted to take a moment to say hello and share a little more of my story for our new Honeybee friends. 💛

This business started as a small nudge on my heart in 2020… and has grown into something I could have never fully planned on my own.

Flowers, family, faith—and now helping other women grow their own dreams too—it’s all connected in ways only God could orchestrate.

I’m so grateful you’re here and a part of this journey. 🌸
