Howdy Kind Kravers!

Some time has passed since we have been active on this page but we are finally taking some steps in a direction that we are excited to share with all of you. We hope you will join us on this journey as we work towards bringing yet another experience to Wichita in 2026 called The Upper Deck.

Back in October we drove to Florida and purchased a mega bus that we are in the stages of converting into a mobile vending unit. If that sounds familiar it is because we drove to California in October last time we purchased a bus to convert into Kind Kraving's food truck. Although this will not be a food truck, we have many great ideas for this bus that we will be sharing as soon as we are closer to the grand opening. This is yet another step along the way for us as we work towards finding a venue where we can offer food again.

We have been building in other areas of our lives the past 5 years so that all of the pieces can come together to create something unforgettable and unique for our hometown. We have gained so much ground that it is almost as unbelievable as the success of Kind Kraving's was.

As of now, stay tuned for updates on the build as we work through what it means to convert this beast. Shea has his hands full! But what's new? 😁

We couldn’t be more excited to share this event with the community and our city!

Coming together for a great cause while utilizing the power of music to vibrationally connect us collectively is potent medicine for the heart and has substantial abilities to create positive change.

We shall gather on this day to honor those who fight the good fight. Those who work effortlessly and tirelessly day in and day out to better the lives of others. Companion animals that have been abused, misused, and cast aside as if their lives hold no value are given a second chance thanks to the infinite love cast out through all the volunteers that make animal rescue possible.

There are two local Kansas rescues that we cherish deeply for their efforts and mission. We are blessed to have them as our guests of honor for One Love.

This year’s spotlight shines on Always and Furever Animal Sanctuary, whose focus is to rescue discarded senior pets from kill shelters and find them furever homes so they may live their full lives with love and comfort, and Beauties and Beasts whose focus is on the 11th hour, or the last hope and hour before animals are euthanized.

May we lift them and their cause to the highest of heights. Though our lives may not allow for us to help on the front lines or with day to day operations, we can be of service in other ways. Raising funds with the tools we have available to us is one of our ways of giving back and easing the burden placed on animal rescues and rescuers.

We invite each and every one of you to join us for this cause to help spread the love. This will be a day of fun and entertainment for the whole family to come together under One Love to connect, learn, give back, and share in a one of a kind music and art experience.

We could not offer this as a donation based event without the support of many local businesses that have chose to stand with us in doing good for our community by sponsoring this event. We would like to express our gratitude for them now and will be honoring them as well leading up to and during this event.

We have a big announcement coming soon! We will be hosting a music benefit for rescued animals in downtown Wichita in spring of 2022 so stay tuned for details.

Tribal Roots, whose events include music, lasers and trippy videos, is making a name for itself around town.

Another successful Freedom Ride! These beautiful pups were listed to get euthanized at the El Dorado Animal Shelter but Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary came to their rescue just in time like they always do and reached out to us for help to get the process started of removing them from harms way so that they could get them to safety until they can find a home for them to live out the rest of their days with the comfort, love, respect, and companionship that they deserve.

These boys were pure love and joy and a whoooooole lotta energy and gratitude! I wanted to get more photos but to be honest, getting them to sit still after being caged up was darn near impossible so I got what I could. I totally understand where they are coming from, I can't imagine being trapped in a cage uncertain of what is to come either. So we let them get all the wild bouncy energy out before we loaded them up and hauled them to their next destination.

Being able to help in this way is not just about them, we enjoy helping out in whatever ways we can. Freedom rides are such an easy way of doing so because they are very low commitment and you only take on what you can. So if you are someone who is busy or limited on how to contribute in the world of animal rescue but have always wanted to... I highly suggest joining their Freedom Ride page and giving it a go. It is such a great way to give back and participate.

I think my fave part is following their stories as they find a new home and family, as well as the follow ups from their families on the alumni page so you can see how happy of lives they are living. 💖🥰 Knowing we play a part in their freedom and ability to live life to the fullest is priceless and the ultimate soul nurturing experience.

I can't help but think, if everyone did just one small act of kindness daily, imagine the world we would live in then.
