Running a food truck isn’t always tacos, smiles, and busy weekends.
This past Saturday reminded us that sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones.
Due to this heat wave, temperatures inside our food trailer reached over 105°, creating an unsafe working environment for our team. At the end of the day, no event or sale is worth putting anyone’s health at risk.
Because of that, we’ll be taking a short break from public events over the next couple of weeks while we make the necessary repairs and maintenance. We want to come back stronger, safer, and ready to serve you the way we always strive to.
The good news? We’re still accepting catering orders! Those will continue as scheduled.
If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quieter lately, it’s because life has been full. Balancing full-time jobs, family, and running El Gusto on the weekends isn’t always easy, but we’re grateful for every opportunity to keep building this dream.
And maybe this unexpected pause is giving us the opportunity to finally do something we’ve been talking about for a long time.
We’ve been working on a brand-new addition to El Gusto, and we’re thinking about giving you a first taste with an exclusive indoor pop-up. 👀
We won’t spill all the details just yet… but if you love trying new things, we think you’re going to be excited.
Would you come to an El Gusto pop-up to be among the first to experience our newest addition? Drop a ❤️ below if you’d be there!
Thank you for supporting our family and our small business through every season. We truly couldn’t do this without you. The best is still ahead. ❤️
