Hot as hell… so naturally, we’re eating soup in the creek. 😂🔥🥣

Hear me out…

There’s a Korean tradition of “fighting heat with heat” — enjoying hot, nourishing foods even during the hottest days of summer.

And while I can’t promise a bowl of soup will make 100° feel like 75° 😂, I can promise that slow-simmered bone broth, good protein, seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs can taste pretty amazing after a long, hot summer day.

And ALBÓNDIGAS IS BACK this week! ❤️

Plus small batches of Borscht and Summer Vegetable Minestra with Pistou — beef broth AND vegan — along with lots of freezer favorites.

Last week I shared that Ladle Full of Love is a family business, and your response meant so much to me. 💛

This week was another reminder of that.

While I traveled back east to spend time with my family, Richie and my sister-in-law, Desiree, kept everything running at home.

Markets, soup deliveries, customers… they held down the fort so I could be with my East Coast people that I love.

That’s what this business has always been about.

Family.

Community.

Showing up for one another.

And nourishing people the same way we’d nourish our own loved ones.

Spring onions, leeks, fresh shelled peas( yes we shelled these English peas by hand!), asparagus, artichokes grass fed ground beef and Niman Ranch pancetta are the stars of my Garmugia Tuscan spring soup! We are prepping this soup today for Saturday markets and deliveries! Yum!
