Today our first lettuce crop of the season was planted with this year's agriculture class. We are looking forward to a great year of growing our own lettuce with the students.

A huge Thank you to Keystone Cooperative and their Propane with a Purpose Program. Through this program, Keystone contributes a portion of every propane delivery toward helping reduce school lunch debt in rural communities. The initiative was created to strengthen food security and ensure students have the support they need to succeed, and we are proud to partner with schools. The KV Food Service Department received a generous donation to help pay off student lunch debt. We are honored to accept this donation.

We served 11,863 meals this week between breakfast and lunch at all of our schools. We would like to say thank you to our staff for all their hard work. They are on their feet all day in these kitchens. Thank you, we appreciate you all! Our high school team was able to stop for a minute to take a picture. We hope everyone had a great first full week of school.🐾
