Sometimes you have to pause and go back to your roots every now and then. Doing just that today! No fancy injections,glazes or seasonings. Just good ole over the coals country style ribs seasoned with Novak’s seasoning and mopped with my uncle Ronnie’s sop recipe. Y’all have a great Sunday!!

Finally was able to get back out and cook this weekend. After battling the wind all day Saturday and scrambling to load everything before the rain and storms rolled through we were blessed with.

2nd place chicken 🐓
9th place rib 🐖
7th place brisket 🐄

Berto Blast was just that! We had a great time at the Boling fire department. They do a jam up job putting on this event, definitely one of our favorites. Ribs and brisket were our normal flavors we’ve been running and they came through for us again! My chicken has never done good here so I decided to change a couple things and it worked out in my favor.

1st- Chicken
1st- Rib
3rd- Brisket

Overall Grand Champion!

Congratulations LGO Cookers on the reserve! And everyone else who had there numbers called!

Weekend of firsts for us.

First outing with the new trailer. Loved it! Way better than sleeping in the truck!

First time cooking a CBA event and had a blast doing it!

And got our first order of hats in!

Unfortunately that’s all the firsts we got but still happy with how we landed with our turn ins!

12th chicken 🐓
15th rib 🐖
13th brisket 🐄

For 11th overall out of 30 teams
