From South Florida creative to Jupiter mom + small business owner! 🤍🌴

This week’s **Local Mom Highlight** is Liza Mackey, the mom behind Coral Cove Candle Co 🕯️✨

A native Floridian, Liza has called Jupiter home for years and loves the small-town charm, close-knit community, and—of course—the easy access to the water. When she’s not paddleboarding, snorkeling, boating, or cheering on her 14-year-old son, Luke, you’ll find her building the artisan candle and apothecary business she launched in 2025.

But Liza’s story is about more than candles. After 15+ years as an Art Director and Graphic Designer, an unexpected career change gave her the push to turn a hobby she’d been pursuing in her kitchen for years into her full-time passion.

Her advice to moms? **Don’t lose yourself along the way.** ❤️

And her reminder to anyone thinking about a change: **It’s never too late to pursue a passion you love.**

If you have picky eaters, SAVE THIS DINNER. 🙌🏼

This **Skillet Chicken in Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce** from Tiffany Azure is on repeat at our house. I serve it with coconut rice + green beans, and it has officially earned **5 stars from my kids** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A few things that make weeknight dinners easier for me:

🍗 I keep good-quality chicken and other proteins stocked in the freezer with ButcherBox, so I always have a starting point. **We just set up an affiliate link with some pretty great freebies if you want to try it!**

🥘 I keep a handful of easy, family-friendly meals in rotation rather than reinventing dinner every night.

⭐️ I invite my kids to rate the recipes.  I don’t need a yelp review but they can give it stars so I know if its a hit or not.

📱 And when I’m completely out of ideas, I have a few recipe websites I go back to again and again.

Meet the mom behind one of South Florida's favorite local food + family accounts! 🍴☀️

This week’s **Local Mom Highlight** is **Ashlee Zahringer**, a West Palm Beach mom of four and the woman behind ****. 💕

With four kids ranging from 7 months to 6 years old, Ashlee's house is filled with Legos, princess costumes, Pokémon cards, Minecraft, sports equipment, and plenty of love and chaos! 😂

Ashlee has also been sharing her love of South Florida's local restaurants, small businesses, hotels, and experiences since **2014**—long before Instagram was what it is today. What started as a fun passion project documenting food dates with her husband has grown organically to more than **11,000 followers**, and now her kids get to join in on the adventures!

We loved getting to know Ashlee and hearing about her favorite Palm Beach County spots, family road trips, parenting advice, and how she balances motherhood, a career in healthcare, and her passion for supporting local businesses.

One piece of advice from Ashlee that every mom needs to hear:

**“If you work full time, let go of the guilt.”** ❤️

This week’s **Local Mom Highlight** is Giuliana Sisk, the mom behind **Palm Beach Mahjong**. 💕

Giuliana founded Palm Beach Mahjong earlier this year, creating a community around beginner lessons, guided play, open play, private events, corporate gatherings, and more.
