Blessing Bags

Blessing Bags is a weekend food program to assist school aged children in the Triad, Mechanicsburg and West Liberty Salem School Districts.

All children should have access to nutritional food promoting physical, cognitive and social development. Blessing Bags provide nutritional meals to children who’s primary source of food is the school cafeteria. By providing a food pack slipped into their backpack on Friday afternoon, their nutritional, mental and overall well-being needs are met. With this program, we intend to establish an effective outreach program that will impact the lives of children in our community.

Our Friends from the West Liberty Lions Club packed 364 Blessing Bags tonight! We are so thankful for our partnership with this organization. Always willing to lend a helping hand ❤️

Thank you LEO Club for helping organize food and pack Blessing Bags for Northeastern Elementary!

The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. The Leo club objective is to “…to provide the youth of the world (with) an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community.”

Our Leo club is sponsored by the Northridge Lions Club. They do outreaches for the community and our school. They have plans to serve a Thanksgiving meal at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and in December they will be sorting toys with the Salvation Army.

Tomorrow is our Coffee for a Cause coffee bar. 100% of proceeds will go to the Alig family. I have it on good authority the Caramel Apple Pie Cider will make a return 😍 And if cider is not your thing we have plenty of other tasty drinks! AND we now have Square to take card payments!! See you tomorrow night!!

Hello Blessing Bag Friends! We have had a busy few weeks, but wanted to share about our upcoming Coffee for a Cause. We started this last year donating all of our proceeds to a family in our community. We have decided this will be an annual event! Please help us share and support this family 🩵 9-26-25 @ Triad Football Stadium

Hello Blessing Bag Friends!! It's August, back to school and football....You know what that means!! Our Coffee Bar will be open for business this Friday night at Triad's home opener. We will have all of our fan favorites. Tell your friends 😍🧋We hope to see you there!!

Last night we accepted a donation of $800.37 from Vacation Bible School missions. 40 kids attended and they showed up in a big way and surpassed their goal of $600!! We would like to thank the following West Liberty churches for making Blessing Bags their mission this week:

United Church of Christ
United Methodist Church
