💡💡 Double tip of the week for cake baking:
1️⃣ If your cakes typically dome up in the middle, or bake uneven, next time try baking them at a lower temp. For cakes and cupcakes both, I never bake either at 350 degrees, always lower the oven temp for more consistent results.
2️⃣ For evenly baked cakes, that don’t dome up in the middle, try a “cake collar”. These cool little fabric adjustable “collars”, always give me great results. Be sure to follow the directions with soaking the straps in water before placing them snugly around the outside perimeter of your cake pan. Then bake as usual. Baking with cake collars, may increase baking time. The collars pictured are Wilton brand. I have found them in the baking section at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.
