We have a new cookie flavor- caramel apple! 🍎 It’s a perfect fall cookie! This one has been a huge hit with the taste testers. Dare I say that it might be even better than the Chubby Hubby cookie? And that is saying a lot!

We baked our cookies in cookie rings for the first time time this week. The weight is the same as usual, but the rings made them thicker with a smaller circumference. If you are a regular farm stand cookie eater, I would love to get your feedback on what you think of the new shape. I’m very undecided, and your opinions are the ones that matter! Feel free to leave a comment or send a message with your thoughts!

Happy Thursday, friends!

The Hopeful for the Harvest Farm Stand is fully loaded and cookies and muffins have dropped at Blue Ghost Outpost and Smoky Mountain Roasters (Baristas)!

Here's what I baked this week:

PUMPKIN SPICE MERINGUES- toasted marshmallow flavor infused with pumpkin spice and vanilla bean. It's a crunchy, chewy delight!

CHOCOLATE FUDGE ROUNDS- decadent fudgy chocolate filling and two soft and chewy double chocolate cookies.

MAPLE BLONDIES - loads of Real maple syrup and browned butter set the flavor for this chewy Blondie studded with white chocolate chips and toffee bits. This one will satisfy your sweet tooth!

PUMPKIN WHOOPIE PIES - two soft, spiced pumpkin cookies sandwiched around luscious cream cheese filling.

CRISPY RICE TREAT - Rice Crispy Treats perfected. Crunchy, chewy, and with fluffy marshmallow in every bite.

PECAN PIE BARS - a crispy short bread crust topped with a classic homemade pecan pie filling and real, toasted pecans.

SMORES COOKIE BAR - chocolate chip marshmallow cookie base topped with toasted marshmallows and Hershey's milk chocolate bars. These are irresistible.

PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS - if you've tried one already, you'll be wanting more. If you haven't, hurry and get one before they're gone. This muffin is perfection.

APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS - now with more cinnamon. The crispy crunch topping is the stuff of dreams. A tender, cinnamon spiced muffin with delightful apple bits baked into every bite.

The Farm Stand has a few muffin 4 packs, but they'll go fast!

Mimi's Gluten Free Bakehouse is a dedicated commercial kitchen. Keeping you safe is my #1 priority. Every ingredient is checked and verified for gluten free status before it even enters my kitchen.

I would be interested in starting to regularly carry sourdough focaccia bread in the farm stand. We would be able to offer 2-3 flavor varieties each week. But what I really want to know is if you, our lovely customers, would be interested in these. They would still be long fermented sourdough made with our usual organic flours!

Edit: we have found a new honey source! It’s the same awesome farm who provided our fresh cut flowers and brings us eggs each week! Black Dog Mountain Farm

We are looking for a new local, raw honey source (Haywood County). In the past, we have bought 5 gallons at a time and bottled ourselves, but I would consider consignment also. If you’re interested in selling honey at the farm stand, please reach out!

New to the farm stand this week is handmade beeswax bags. There are very large bread bags in various patterns as well as smaller sandwich bags. In the front of the container you can even look at a couple of open samples!
