Stop by the loveliest, curated local craft show of which you've likely been unaware ...though it's in its 22nd year(!). I'm glad to be a part of the Dominion Hill Crafts Show again this Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10am to 5pm in Arlington. At the end of the day, I'll donate to Capital Area Food Bank 20% of my sales from this event.

I'm excited that a pair of my coffee/tea jars & my colander will be a part of the annual Tabletop exhibit here Alexandria at The Art League Gallery in the ground floor of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. 🌼 The juried show features functional ware in a variety of media -- wood, metal, fiber, glass, & ceramics -- all intended for use at the table, & it looks like it will be beautiful. The opening reception is Fri. Oct 10, & the exhibit runs through the end of the month.

I'm fortunate to be alongside 43 fabulous makers at the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase for the James Renwick Alliance's yearly craft show from 10 to 5 this Saturday, Dec. 7! This will be my 3rd year doing the show, & it is a beautiful one, including photography, glass, jewelry, wood, ceramics, & fiber. UPDATE: I will, sadly, NOT be popping up on 5/4 in front of Made in ALX after all -- I spoke with the owner, & the weather's just looking worse.

Their shop, however, continues to be great, so I highly recommend stopping by to browse other locals' work this wet weekend. And please watch this page for more soon -- I promise to put some pots in the online shop this week & will be popping up elsewhere in Alexandria next weekend!

True story: my wonderful spouse & I had our first date at Big Bear Cafe. 💕 So I'm particularly happy to be back again tomorrow (3/23) as part of their Cherry Blossom Market. As a high-temp clay potter, I wish this were stoneware 🙂, but I am hoping it can help someone else.
