Shoutout to our brother Jarobi (A Tribe Called Quest) for coming through as a guest chef and blessing our kitchen. We even threw him a proper birthday afterparty right across the street at Sticky Rice. Good food, great music, and even better vibes.

Pow Pow is celebrating a decade in the heart of this incredible neighborhood โ€” a corridor rich with history, resilience, and unbreakable community spirit.

๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ? Our owner / operators family first moved to the H Street community in 1890. Both his maternal and paternal grandparents ran businesses here through the 1940s, โ€™50s, and โ€™60s. This neighborhood has always felt like home and we love that Pow Powโ€™s story started here.

Over the past 10 years, the city has seen a lot of ups and downs, including the pandemic. But our community has been right here with us sharing the love! ๐Ÿ’•
