Make your own sandwich meat, turkey or ham taste so much better in your sandwiches and wraps when they are homemade and the best part is it’s simple and it cost SO MUCH LESS than buying deli meat. You will easily get 3-4 large zip lock bags of turkey meat from just a 10lb turkey breast, I love using the bone in breast because it has so much more flavor but if you don’t prefer bone in, get a boneless breast and you’ll have even more meat.. it cost so much less than buying store bought turkey meat and you can flavor your turkey however you want. It also freezes well too so save some for immediate use in the refrigerator and the rest to later in the freezer…it can last for a while and still taste better than the store bought kind… take your sandwich game up a notch and try this… I promise you’ll never eat the store bought kind again!! 😋😋😋 Oh and your leftover turkey makes an amazing turkey salad too… don’t waste it, use it all up 😊 or freeze it for later!!

Homemade Bread and Homemade Banana cake, well some would call it a banana bread too but in this case we are differentiating the cake from the bread. The bread was way more time and work but turned out so good. This family of mine… they’re pretty spoiled when it comes to food!! I’m happy they like almost everything I make, so in a spirit of thanksgiving we count it all joy!! 🥹

It’s the Friday before Thanksgiving so it’s time to BRINE YOUR TURKEY!! I dry brined my turkey last year and it turned out so so good so I’m doing a dry brine this year again not a wet one!! We are having a honey old bay turkey this year so my dry season blend is:Old bayBrown sugarGarlic powderKnorrOnion powderCayenneTurmericThymeRosemaryBasilRed chili flakesCuminCombine all the spices and use chicken bouillon as your base for the bird, make holes in the turkey especially the breast and pat dry then apply your dry seasoning. Stuff with fresh sage, thyme and onions… cover with plastic wrap then refrigerate until thanksgiving morning. Add some butter in the holes you made in the turkey and Slow roast your bird. This will be one of the juiciest turkeys you will have made!! Just remember to thank me later…. Now go Brine your bird!! Enjoy!! 😉

🧇 Listen, if you love plantains as much as my husband does, this meal is for you! HE loved my little twist on traditional chicken and waffles. The grilled jerk chicken and shrimp were perfect, the sweet and spicy jerk sauce was the literal icing on the cake. Why have regular waffles when you can have naturally sweet and super delicious plantain waffles!! Would you try this?

It’s 80 degrees outside, so a delicious BBQ meatloaf topped with crispy onion rings and mashed potatoes served outside on the deck seems like the perfect and MOST DELICIOUS way to celebrate the heat! Do you agree?

Make this tonight! So Easy and Quick!! Sheet Pan leg quarters & potatoes with vegetable medley! This is the easiest lazy night dinner ever. Simply season your chicken(sea salt, red pepper, Mrs dash, onions, thyme, sage), cut your potatoes into wedges, chop onions, mushrooms, garlic and peppers, add Evoo, a little more sea salt and smoked paprika, bake 425 for 30-35 mins and voila dinner is ready! For the medley- simply chop cabbage, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, onions, carrots and steam on low heat with butter. Not a single bite will be left over. This easy meal is rich with flavor and so satisfying!! And it’s healthy too!!
