For all the teachers out there.. there are so many fun ways to incorporate art into your classroom! I used to do this with paint when I taught in school, but you could consider the chemistry that went into the glazes - using heat and pressure to bring out the various textures.. There are also all kinds of examples in history of clay and how it was used in society, how it stands the test of time. I love that art is always among us in some way!

Last year was so much fun - we are doing it again! Art classes will be available all 3 days as an add on to your ticket at Kingdom Bound 2026!

Good morning! It’s been so good to feel the warmth of a new season!

A reminder that Thursday is a watercolor brush pen class in the studio at 10:00am. Details are in the photo.

Autumns Tasty Delights brightened our display with lemon crinkle cookies and brownie stuffed chocolate chip cookies!

I’m developing a textured art class to add to what we can offer creatively at the café. This is so much fun using modeling paste and piping bags and pallet knives and paint! I’ve been thinking and dreaming this one up for a while and seeing how other people do it. So that should be coming soon as I refine the process.
