There’s nothing quite like a warm summer night, fireworks lighting up the sky, families making memories, and an ice cream in hand. This is what America is all about.

We’re proud to be a small, family-owned business serving our community one cone at a time. From little league games and hometown festivals to weddings, block parties, and community events, it’s an honor to be part of the moments that bring people together.

Bring your family and friends as we reflect on our nation’s rich heritage, recognize those who have served, and celebrate the people and stories that make our community special. We look forward to sharing this memorable day with you!

Please note that the parking lot at the Recreation Office will be reserved exclusively for veterans' parking during the event.

🍦 Now Hiring – Part-Time Ice Cream Truck Driver! 🚚

Cartwright Creamery is looking for a dependable, customer-friendly part-time driver to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season!

📍 Based in Wappingers Falls, NY, we serve the surrounding Hudson Valley area at private parties, community events, festivals, and more.

📅 Position: August 1 through early October

Requirements:
✅ Available every Friday, Saturday & Sunday (weekends are required)
✅ Clean driving record
✅ Reliable, outgoing, and enjoys working with the public
✅ Comfortable driving our ice cream truck and providing excellent customer service
✅ No CDL required

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Cartwright Creamery has officially been taken over by the crew at Poughkeepsie Nissan.

What started as a simple video quickly turned into a full-scale ice cream truck takeover. One minute they were filming, the next they were behind the service window making cones, sundaes, and milkshakes like they’d been doing it for years. 🍦😂

We’re still not sure when we lost control of the truck, but we are pretty sure they’re already discussing new menu items and employee discounts.

Thankfully they sell cars for a living… because the competition was getting a little too close for comfort! 🚗🤣
