Since my firstborn was old enough to hold a pencil, she and I have been crafting and creating in one form or another. Emma and I have spent hours sitting at a craft table making some very special memories. When Izzy joined the fold, she and I created new treasures and new memories. As the years have passed and our first born has headed off to rad school and Izzy now crafts more with friends than w
ith mom, I found myself facing two realities. The first is I have too much time on my hands and the second is that I love to create. Over the years I have been asked to decorate for graduations, luncheons, auctions and friend’s private events.I have also been asked for decorating advice on a multitude of platforms. But the thing that finally caused everything to come into sharp focus was the generous praise of friends and family as we have sat around my dining room table to celebrate a variety of events. So, moving forward I plan to share all I create with the hope that others will share their own unique ideas as well. I am surrounded by so many talented people and see so many wonderful designs on Facebook and Pinterest. I hope that as you all decorate your tables and mantels and trees and doors for whichever holiday or special event you have in your life, that you will share them here. I also look forward to your ideas about my designs as I post them and yes, suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.
