Waco Mammoth Site is looking for docents and volunteers for the upcoming Spring programs! A docent is a trained volunteer who serves as a tour guide and adds a special touch to the Waco Mammoth Site. Being a docent is a great way to join the mammoth site team and interact with the community. Docents must be at least 18 years of age and complete the docent training program. See website for form

Organizations such as the National Park Service, the City of Waco, Baylor University and the Mayborn Museum teamed together with private landowners and donors to protect the bones and develop the park.

Cameron Park Zoo will hold its annual Zoo Boo on Sunday October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you have a child between the ages of 2 yrs and 12 yrs bring them dressed in their favorite costume and tour the harrowing herpetarium, the Arachniguy’s web, and walk the plank with the Pirates of the Flower Garden Reef.
