❤️ A Personal Update & One Last Ride for Carolina Fusion Q ❤️
This is a hard post for us to write, but we wanted to share it personally with all of you who have supported us and become part of the Carolina Fusion Q family.
As many of you know, Chuck’s health has been a challenge, and lately we’ve had to take a closer look at what he is physically able to do. Anyone who knows Chuck knows that slowing down isn’t easy for him. He loves cooking, serving people, talking with customers, and being behind that smoker. Carolina Fusion Q has been a huge part of his heart, which makes this decision especially difficult.
But right now, Chuck’s health has to come first.
Because of that, tomorrow at the WNC Recovery Rally in downtown Asheville will be our last appearance as the Carolina Fusion Q food truck.
There are a lot of emotions behind those words. This truck has taken us on one heck of a journey. We’ve worked long days, laughed a lot, probably argued over a few things 😂, made wonderful memories, and met people along the way who started as customers and became friends.
If Carolina Fusion Q has ever been part of your day, your event, your family celebration, or even just your lunch, we would love to see you tomorrow. Come grab some BBQ, give Chuck a hug or a handshake, share a memory, and help us send the food truck out surrounded by the people who have supported us all these years.
And please know—this isn’t goodbye to Carolina Fusion Q.
We still plan to do catering when Chuck is feeling well enough and his health allows. We’re just stepping away from the physical demands and constant pace of the food truck so that Chuck can listen to his body, take care of himself, and enjoy the good days without feeling like he has to push through the hard ones.
We don’t know exactly what this next chapter will look like, and that’s okay. For now, we’re taking it one day at a time and putting Chuck and his health first.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our little food truck, our dream, and most importantly, our family. Your love and support have meant more to us than you will ever know.
We’re hoping to see a whole lot of familiar faces tomorrow at the WNC Recovery Rally in downtown Asheville for one last ride with the Carolina Fusion Q food truck. ❤️🐷🔥
Come hungry. Come say hello. And come help us make this last one a good one.
