ANOTHER EXCELLENT MORNING ON SAGINAW BAY. These fellas did it right this morning filling their limit's quick with nice walleye. The captain even had to katch his limit as well filling the 4 man ticket. Fished a new area for the first time this year and same story different day LOT'S OF HUNGRY WALLEYE. Ran a mix of flicker shad 7's and crawler harnesses at 1.8 to over 2mph. Pinks and purple's. DID A QUICK EVENING TRIP FOR MY DOUBLE TODAY BRIGHT SUNSHINE AND GLASS WATERS HAD THE FISHING A LITTLE SLOW BUT THESE GUY'S PUT A NICE BOX OF FISH TOGETHER.AND THEY ALSO LOST A LOT OF FISH I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THE DEAL WAS THIS EVENING BUT THEY DID NOT WANT TO STAY BUTTONED UP. ❗❗WIND, WAVES AND NICE WALLEYE❗❗Just another excellent morning in the shallow Waters of Saginaw Bay. The weather this morning was perfect for quality fish to be biting with the overcast skies the wind in a perfect walleye chop. These fellas put the hammer down and filled the cooler quick this morning with some very very nice Saginaw Bay walleye. Same program fishing 7 to 9 ft of water trolling a mix of flicker minnows and crawler harnesses at a speed of 1.6 to 2.0 mph Wonder bread has stolen the show on the crawler harness side. Sexy purple as I like to call it is the only flicker minnow that I have been running the past 2 weeks. ❗❗❗❗❗ STORM'S, WHAT STORMS❗❗❗❗ I had a group of 5 cancel on me late yesterday for this morning so one of my regular walk on client's gary who just happens to live by my cabin where I am staying for the week wanted to Go. We slept in we had breakfast we made sure no storms were going to hit us we made the quick one mile run to the fishing grounds from the boat launch and put 16 fish in the box in a very short time only running four rods two off each side we ran two flicker minnow number sevens and two crawler harnesses off 3/4 Oz bouncers. Still in 7 to 9 foot of water still trolling a mix of flicker minnow sevens and crawler harnesses purple and Wonder bread seem to be the colors. Now that I've had lunch it's time for a nap and a possible evening trip which I may have a seat or two open for if anybody is wanting to go I have doubles the next two days and a three boat charter trip on Friday. Well this morning started off very slow the area that I've been fishing the past 6 weeks had a lot of floating debris and other garbage in the water which made it impossible the troll the crankbaits were just covered in Weeds by the time the board got into place so we did some checking around in the same area we're able to find a shoreline that had a little cleaner water and a lot less garbage in the water and guess what it also had a lot of hungry walleye. Here we Go again same day same story told a mix of flicker minnows number sevens and crawler harnesses at a speed of 1.6 to 1.9 mph in 7 to 9 ft of water. 😋😋😋❗❗❗❗5 MAN TICKET ❗❗❗❗😋😋Well what can I even say except the fishing here on Saginaw Bay is world class and it amazes me every year. These granddads and grandsons just laid the absolute SmackDown on a 40 fish limit this morning in just under 3 hour's. This young man of 8 years old caught his first walleyes ever and just happened to be lucky enough to get a tagged walleye which puts him above about 98% of fishermen here in Michigan. Same story different day ran a mix of crawler harnesses and flicker minnow number sevens and 7 to 9 ft of water at a speed of 1.7 to 2.0 mph. QUICK TO MAN LIMIT TRIP THIS MORNING. Had two guys not show up this morning they had not just one deer but a whole herd of deer on their way up here to fish with me this morning so Gary and I decided to sleep in and do a little later morning trip after breakfast. The water was like glass and the fish were snapping once again. We trolled 7 to 9 fow we went old school this morning and trolled all hot and tots and let me tell you something they still catch fish at a speed of 1.8 mph. ❗❗❗40 PACK MCWALLEYE SHALLOW❗❗❗ This family from texas laid the absolute smackdown on a bunch of Saginaw Bay walleyes this morning. We fished 7 to 9 fow trolling a mix of flicker minnow sevens and crawler harnesses at a speed of 1.6 mph. The fishing is excellent and there are fish from 4 fow to 40 fow and they are biting everything you put in the water. I have a couple open seats for tomorrow morning and a few open this week weather looks perfect and the fish are chomping. Morning and afternoon trips available. ❗❗❗❗ CALM WATER WALLEYE ❗❗❗❗Just another quick and easy limit trip this morning in the shallow calm Waters of Saginaw Bay. These fellas laid the smack down on some good eating size walleye. We trolled a mix of flicker minnow sevens and crawler harnesses in 7 to 9 fow at a speed of 1.6 mph. Fishing remains very good and will stay that way.
