🎉 Happy 12 Years Tina McDonough 🎉   Twelve years ago, Tina started as a hostess at WildFin Issaquah. Today, she’s the heart behind so much of what makes this company run.

When one of our owners was opening our first WildFin location, Tina simply said “you need help” — and created her own role as Administrative Assistant. Since then, she’s grown into an invaluable resource for the entire company.

North Moore remembers Tina as a host at WildFin Issaquah back when he was a server/bartender just starting his own journey toward management. He liked her immediately, and she’s been an amazing resource, colleague, and friend ever since. One of his favorite memories is their trip out to Utah and a night spent over dinner, telling stories, laughing, and reminiscing about everyone they’ve worked with over the years. He says it was the kind of night that reminds you just how long you’ve known someone, and how many chapters you’ve been through together.

Katharine Aronsohn puts it simply: strong, smart, caring, and the one who keeps us all in line. She calls Tina the secret wizard behind the curtain — the one who fixes problems we didn’t even know we had, and the brains behind the technical side of every new store opening. For a long time, she was Attila’s right hand, the inner ear he could always count on. She started as a host and found her place on the back end, quietly keeping the chaos organized. Katharine says Tina does a lot of her best work in the shadows — which is exactly how she likes it — even when the job goes thankless.

But that’s just it — the thing people love most about Tina isn’t what she knows, it’s how she shows up for all of us. She has a knack for figuring things out even when she’s never seen the problem before. She’s always willing to help, answer a question, or point someone in the right direction — and she does it all with grace, even in the most stressful, sticky situations (Annie Baker can personally attest to her jumping in, without batting an eye, and having her back time and time again).

Tina, thank you for 12 incredible years. We appreciate you more than we can say. We couldn’t do any of this without you!! 🧡

8 years ago, Katharine Aronsohn walked into WildFin Vancouver as our bar manager. Today, we’re celebrating everything she’s built since. 🎉

Katharine helped open not one, but three more WildFin locations — and has served as GM across three different states along the way. That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and gets it done.

Ask anyone who’s worked with her and you’ll hear the same things: she’s whip-smart, she’s somehow always cool, calm, and collected under pressure, and she is hilarious — the kind of funny that makes a long shift feel short. She’ll quote your favorite movie back to you word for word, recommend a book you didn’t know you needed (she’s read approximately all of them), and still make time to really listen when you need to talk.

8 years, countless teams built and guests served — thank you, Katharine, for every bit of it. You are truly the best. Here’s to many more. 🐟🥂
