Yesterday, Tennessee lost a piece of its heart. 💔

And today, we found ourselves looking at this little piece of paper very differently.

Once upon a time, a box of Cookie Crate cookies left our little corner of East Tennessee with a shipping label bearing a name we could hardly believe:

Dolly Parton. 🩷🦋
(We framed the label!)

At the time, it was simply one of those pinch-me moments for a small business. We had made something with our own hands, packed it into a box, taped it shut. Somewhere on the other end, ‘The’ Dolly Parton was going to open it!

But today, this little label feels different.
Dolly was never just a famous person from Tennessee, she WAS Tennessee.

Rest easy, Dolly.

From one little Tennessee cookie shop that was once lucky enough to send a little sweetness your way.
