Dear Family,

It is hard for us and our staff to even know where to begin, so we are just going to try and do what we do best, which is make food for people that we care about.

If you know of any person or family in the 30 communities we serve that has been impacted by the floods who could use a meal, just email [email protected] and work with us to coordinate someone to pick it up and we will handle the rest.

Words are hard to find right now, but Texas does hard things.

The disaster in the Hill Country and beyond have been devastating for the region, the residents, the Camps, especially Camp Mystic, and our broader community across this great state.

Now and forever, we send our love and everything that is good inside of us to those affected, and especially to those who are in Heaven now and their families that love them.

Even though I was born in Colombia, I am a Houstonian and I know how special this area of Texas is to us all - the fireflies, the rope swings, the Hunt Store, the songs, the Camps, the fireworks, Criders, the memories, the friendships, the smells and the sights and the sounds of youth.

Although it is hard to see right now, the magic of the Hill Country will return - stronger, safer, and more connected than ever before - ready to welcome the next 100 years of families just as it has the last 100 years. I have no doubt.
