First batch of Mastriania Coleslaw😁
Those of you that don’t know back in the day my biological father and his lovely wife Myrna ran The Chicken Wagon BBQ/Catering. Myrna who is really a wonderful person shared their old slaw recipe with me. Means the world to me ☺️ So she gets full credit for the addition to Eddie's Pit Stop BBQ so I can carry on the tradition!

Time to get this old truck built into a functioning FoodTruck. Had a huge opportunity fall into my lap. Today I got met and talk to the new owners of 🚦 Maple Grove Speedway 🏁 Wonderful people and soo many changes and updates to the property. I was amazed. We got to talking and it turns out Eddie's Pit Stop BBQ is invited to come sell our BBQ at some of the large events in 2023. These national events draw 18,000 plus people! If I even get close to the 5% rule I’ll be serving close to a thousand people 😳 Wow, Just wow.. Soo excited for what the future holds and feel right at home vending at racetracks, where my excitement for sharing my BBQ all started in the Pits of my early Dirt Driving days🏁 More to come when I have the details

Haven’t posted in awhile,..
But that doesn’t mean things aren’t coming along. Picked up a brand new meat grinder, meat mixer, sausage stuffer and patty maker. Soo excited to open some boxes, sanitize and start making some products!! 😊

Also excited to be picking up tomorrow a used commercial toaster and Hobart Slicer from a local-ish restaurant that has closed. I’ve been waiting years for the right deal to get a Hobart Slicer 😁 Can’t tell you how stoked this makes me!

Other recent news. It appears I’ll have a  consistent spot to set up in town at a great local establishment that has been very supportive in my quest. More to come later on this.

Lastly the commissary catering kitchen is in progress. Will be a few months before launch, however every step I’ve been making has been getting me closer and closer to sharing my talents and yummy recipes with the local public.

Snowy day but back at it again with a brand new recipe and signature 2 step marinade. Eddie’s Pit Stop BBQ’s Sweet/Heat Hardwood Smokey Beef Jerky 🥩 Super happy with the turn out. Reviews so far are “Hands Down The Best Beef Jerky I’ve Ever Had” Mike, Elizabethtown. Going to see what the guys at work think tomorrow.
