9/26/26 Good Morning. I'll be heading in to light the fire for our Baby Back Ribs, Duroc Pork variety. These Ribs will be slow smoked over Hickory and Cherry Woods, and should be ready by 2PM today or possibly a little later than that. I have plenty of Collard Green, and Pulled Pork by the Pound too. I'm not going to do Brisket today since we received little feedback about folks wanting some. I also have plenty of our Smoked then Fried Jumbo Wings, FOOTBALL SATURDAY BBQ...we've got you covered, come out and get some. If BBQ isn't your thing, how about Pizza or a Hoagie, maybe a Ciabatta Bread Sandwich, Burger and Fries, or even our Philly Cheesesteak. We hope to see you today at Dizzy Izzy's by FoodaTude.

9/25/26 Good Morning. The weather has been beautiful, nice cool temperatures, and the kitchen is lovely on these days. The old adage, 'if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen' comes to mind.

I worked the Shirley Smokers all day yesterday, 80 pounds of Wings and 8 Large Pork Butts. We have Pulled Pork by the Pound and the 2 Pound Wing Special is back! I hope to smoke Duroc Pork Baby Back Ribs tomorrow ,and still deciding on whether or not to do a Brisket or two.

The Philly Cheesesteaks are becoming very popular, and yes they'll be on the menu daily, they have been since we opened, exception being when the heat was just too hot to run the grille and fryer. We have Chicken Philly too and don't forget our amazing Smash Burgers, and we have a special on those too. The Ciabatta Bread Sandwiches are made with premium meats and cheese, organic house baked Ciabatta, organic vegetables, try one, you won't be disappointed!

I sliced the GOAT CHEESE CHEESECAKES and slices are ready for purchase, we have our Chocolate Chip Heath Bar Cookies available and 4 varieties of Italian Cakes by the slice. The Pizza Dough has fermented for a soft and delicate crust with a BIG taste. We have our CREAM OF TOMATO BISQUE AND NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER, great for these cooler temperatures. The BOURBON BROWN SUGAR BRAISED COLLARD GREENS WILL BE AVAILABLE TODAY TOO....I've been busy in the kitchen, come get some clean foods prepared with love.

9/24/26 Good Morning. A later post than usual. The Goat Cheese and Vanilla Cheesecake has been sliced and is ready for purchase.

I have PORK BUTTS AND WINGS ON THE SMOKER TODAY. If anyone wanted Baby Back Ribs and can put some on to be ready around dinner time. I have BOURBON BROWN SUGAR BRAISED COLLARD GREENS cooking as well, hours to go on those. The BBQ is back. I’m hoping to do 2 Briskets this weekend with Ribs too.

We have our NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER AND CREAMY TOMATO BISQUE AVAILABLE TODAY. We also have SMOKED BAKED BEANS, 4 TYPES OF IMPORTED ITALIAN CAKES, HOUSE MADE BUTTERMILK RANCH AND OUR HOUSE MADE POINT REYES BLUE CHEESE DRESSING TOO!

9/23/26 Good Afternoon. Sometimes things have a way of working out on their own. I wanted to make Corn Chowder, ordered a bushel of corn from my supplier and it came in moldy and rotten, so back it went. I’m going to make my CREAM OF TOMATO BISQUE today. This Bisque will be sold by the quart and hopefully will be ready for 5PM, fingers crossed.

The Ciabatta Bread is baked, Cookies too, and Cheesecakes are cooking now in the steam oven. The cheesecakes will need a night to set up and cool, but they’ll be ready for lunch service tomorrow.

9/23/26 Good Morning again. I just wanted to take a moment and re-introduce you to our PHILLY CHEESESTEAK. I'm making them now, and using my sweet and tender onions we first slow cook in butter for hours, our shaved ribeye and sirloin, COOPER SHARP AND AMOROSO ROLLS FROM PHILLY. Just look at that beauty, made to order, we make them with meat/cheese/onions, the way they should be, other toppings available if you must, choice is yours. 9/23/26 Good Morning. It's very early, time to go in and fire up the bread oven, Ciabatta to bake this morning, cheesecakes to make, and cleaning to be done. I went in yesterday and made the marinade for 80 pounds of wings, wings are marinating now, made starter doughs, and changed beef tallow in fryer, cleaned hood vents, grill, and deep cleaned other areas.

It is finally cooler out, we go from an oven to needing a sweater virtually overnight, but it does feel good, even it is a little humid and wet. The colder temperatures inspire me to make more soups. I have limited amounts of CLAM CHOWDER LEFT. I hope to make Bacon-Corn Chowder, pondering adding shrimp or crab to it, shrimp might be best if I do. Then thinking about my favorite, Pasta Fazool, or as it is truly named, Pasta Fagioli. I make mine with sausage added, but it can be vegetarian too, any input from you folks? This weather always makes me want my CREAM OF TOMATO BISQUE, a blend of fresh vegetables and organic cream, fresh basil, and a grilled cheese sandwich, might have to put that one on my list too. I need to make COLLARD GREENS THIS WEEK, and smoke ribs, pork butts and wings.

We of course have our BURGER SPECIAL AT $14.70 for twin smash patties, cheese and beef tallow fried fries on a soft toasted roll. The pre-cook weight of the burgers is 8 ounces, premium Certified Angus Beef, 81/19, lower fat, great flavor. We also have our PARMIGIANA GRINDERS AVAILABLE, and don't forget the PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS. I made a huge batch of pizza dough on Sunday, and it's ready today after its 72 hour fermentation, Margharita Pizza is available , beautiful fresh basil, Italian Tomatoes, 4 ounces of fresh mozzarella on every pizza, parmesan, a great classic pizza.

9/20/26 Good Morning. The Hours for today are NOON-5:00PM, please make note of it. I hope to expand the Sunday hours again at some point but the Sunday business has been very light, and my bones need a break.

The New England Clam Chowder is nearly sold out, get some while you can. I plan on smoking meats next week, Pork Butts and Wings on Wednesday. I also hope to have some other desserts coming too. I could still use a kitchen assistant for Friday and Saturdays, if you know of anyone let me know or send them my way please.
