This Earth Day, we want to ask you something:
What is your relationship to the Earth right now? What words would you use for it? What feeling, color, or texture comes to mind?
We’d really love to hear.
For me, some days this relationship is about admiring the Earth’s beauty. Some days, it feels like the weight of our complicity, the shame of knowing how deeply human life has been entangled with harm and destruction. And some days, it means asking harder questions about power, ownership, and the systems that make some lives and some lands disposable.
I keep thinking of this from Adrienne Maree Brown: "What we give attention to grows."
What am I paying attention to? What am I willing to feel? What am I still refusing to face?
Happy Earth Day! 🪱🍄🟫
