🌲🐻 SPECIAL VISITOR ALERT! 🐻🌲

We were honored to have none other than Smokey Bear stop by the Kreative Kettle Corn booth at Mason County Forest Festival this weekend! 🔥🌲

Smokey was kind enough to stop for some photos and help spread his important message about wildfire prevention. It was a fun surprise for our customers, especially the kids!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit us, take pictures, and support our small business. Events like these are what make being part of our community so special.

And remember, as Smokey says:
"Only YOU can prevent wildfires!" 🌲🔥

🎉🌲 We are getting SO excited for Saturday at the Mason County Forest Festival in Shelton, WA! 🌲🎉

The kettle will be popping, the caramel will be flowing, and the fresh kettle corn smell will be filling the air! 🍿✨ We can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying the festival, supporting local vendors, and making memories with family and friends.

🌽🍿 Ever Wonder How Popcorn Kernels Are Made? 🍿🌽

Popcorn starts its journey on the farm! 🚜 Unlike sweet corn you eat at dinner, popcorn is a special type of corn grown with a hard outer shell and just the right amount of moisture inside each kernel.

Here’s the fun science behind the POP! 💥

✨ Each kernel contains a tiny drop of water stored inside.
✨ When heated, that water turns into steam.
✨ Pressure builds up inside the hard shell.
✨ BOOM! The kernel explodes and flips inside out into the fluffy popcorn we all love! 🍿

Fun Fact 🤓
A popcorn kernel can pop up to 3 feet in the air when it bursts!
