Sorry, mortals, but we will be closed tonight – Wednesday, July 29th – for our monthly Blood on the Clocktower Immersive Experience. The Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe will be open to event ticketholders only as it transforms into Ravenswood Bluff.

We will be back open tomorrow for regular operating hours from 4 PM to 10 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience.

It's a true can't-miss doubleheader tonight at the Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe with Sports Trivia and our weekly TCG Tuesdays featuring MTG Casual Commander! Beat the heat and come chill with us for one or both.

TCG Tuesday runs 4 PM to 10 PM as a come-when-you-can night of playing your favorite TCGs. Thanks to our new partnership with Wizards, we now also feature MTG Casual Commander, and as an added bonus, our event-exclusive Black Lotus drink specials come with a FREE booster pack!

And drop by from 7 PM to 9 PM for our Sports Trivia Night in collaboration with Pride Sports League of Central Iowa. It's free to play for a shot at prizes. Get your brainiest friends together and show off how smart you are.

👹 Blood on the Clocktower Immersive Experience – Wednesday. Find the demon before you meet your end. Drink specials, eerie atmosphere, amazing games. Almost sold out.

⚾️ Sports Trivia Night with Pride Sports League – Tuesday. Test your sports knowledge in this partnership with the Pride Sports League of Central Iowa. Free to join, but registration required.

Don't miss your shot to lie, con, and murder your way to victory in this wildly popular social deduction game. We amp up the experience with moody decor, a village festival, spooky ambience, and some scary good event-exclusive special beverages.

You asked, and we answered! Y'all have been telling us you want a board game league, and we made it happen. Introducing the Rook Room Game League Season 1! Put together a team or sign up solo and make some new friends. This is an 8-week season including a welcome party, wrap party, and 6 weeks of team-vs-team board game action. Play for points, glory, and the championship trophy! Season 1 games will be Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, Azul, and Dominion.

So gather those teams and get your spot in our inaugural game league before space runs out! There are plenty more details on how ALL of this will work over at the link in the comments.

We've partnered with Molly's Cupcakes Des Moines on a Flamecraft Cupcake Decorating Class where you'll get the chance to learn from the experts exactly how to make these adorable treats.
