A Heartfelt Message from Big Guy’s Stuffed Waffles and More

Long-time customers and friends,

Many of you have been with us since our early days as Jen’s Delightful Sweets and through our rebrand to Big Guy’s Stuffed Waffles and More. Your support and loyalty have meant the world to us.

I’m Jennifer’s husband — “the Big Guy” (Bill) — and today was our final day at this location. We were unable to renew our lease. Despite strong weekends filled with wonderful customers and great energy, the rising costs and lack of consistent weekday business made it impossible to sustain long-term.

Jennifer and I want to say a heartfelt thank you. Her love and passion for this business carried us forward as long as we did, and I couldn’t have done it without her by my side. We’re both here saying goodbye together with heavy hearts.

This closing is painful, but it does not mean we’re out for good — we’re simply stepping back for a moment. Better days are ahead, and we’ll share updates when the time is right.

We are also aware of two outstanding gift cards that have not yet been redeemed. We 100% want to make this right and will fully refund those customers. We are actively trying to contact you, but if you see this post first, please call us at 207-719-0913 so we can honor them right away.

What an incredible morning at Big Guys Waffles and More! We were absolutely PACKED on both sides — dining room full, kitchen running full throttle, and the energy was nonstop! Huge thank you to every single one of you who came in (and are still coming through our doors) today.

My amazing wife Jennifer was straight-up killing it back in the kitchen — she’s the brains behind everything, and I’m just the belly 😂 We couldn’t do this without her.

A big heartfelt thank you to everyone who waited patiently for a table or for your food. We see you and we appreciate you more than you know! 🙏 Your smiles, good vibes, and kind words kept us going through the rush. Thank you for letting us share these candid photos of our busy morning.

Special shoutout to our rockstar waitress Shelly — we love you and appreciate every extra mile you go for us and our customers. And to Jaxson holding it down in the dish pit… thank you brother, it’s not glamorous but it’s so appreciated !!

🌸 Happy Easter from Big Guys Stuffed Waffles and More!

The case is packed and ready for you this morning — three kinds of cinnamon buns (signature plain, peanut butter frosted, and banana cream cheese), plus fresh blueberry muffins, apricot squares, and a sweet lineup of doughnuts: old fashioned, chocolate with chocolate jimmy’s, plain glazed, and strawberry jelly filled!

Don’t miss our version of the Susie Q — rich chocolate cake layered with creamy buttercream frosting.

And that’s before you even dive into breakfast — the Big Guy stuffed waffle, PB & J stuffed waffle, the S’more waffle, or any of your traditional favorites like eggs, toast, sausage, and hash.

As Jennifer always says, everything’s better with bacon!

So why not “hop on by” this morning — we opened at 6am but we are closing at noon so we can enjoy the holiday too.

As always the Coffee’s hot, the case looks amazing, and the welcome’s just as warm. 🐰☕🧇

Big Guys Stuffed Waffles & More Update

Hey everyone! Quick updates from the diner:

• Due to internet and POS system issues, we’re closing an hour early today. Thanks for understanding—back tomorrow with fresh stuffed waffles!
• Good news: We’ve resolved the DoorDash and Google intermittent issues. It was more intense than just dragging the pin—the address was being forced to change back-and-forth between platforms, requiring manual fixes on their end beyond what we could handle ourselves.

Therefore It should now correctly show 1306 Alfred Rd., Arundel for DoorDash orders, and our neighbor diagonally positioned from us should no longer be getting dashers at her residence.

We’re wrapping it up early today, big fam.

No, it’s not the worst weather we’ve seen, but it’s bad enough—tricky turning in and out of the driveway—that we’re calling it a day and closing at 12:30 so everyone can stay safe on the roads.

Huge heartfelt thank you for an absolutely rocking morning today – you all showed up and made it worth it. Rest up, stay safe, and we’ll see you back on Thursday at 6 AM sharp with our brisket fully restocked and ready to blow your taste buds away !!

Big thank you to everyone who stopped in this morning !!

We’re so grateful to all of you who came during our busy breakfast rush today. The place was almost at full capacity, and we truly appreciate the support and the love you keep showing Big Guys.

Our first customers of the day were Steve Herron and his son, and they absolutely made our morning. Steve’s son went all‑in on his Nutella chocolate waffle—cleaning the plate, licking the knife from the bottom, chasing every last bit of chocolate.

The photo was priceless, and we’re so glad he was okay with us sharing it. That kind of moment is exactly why we do what we do and absolutely love doing it !!

Thank you, Steve, for the awesome Google review and for in to support us with your lil champ champ !! We really appreciate you and choosing Big Guys.

URGENT UPDATE:

Fixing Our Address Pin Issue – We’re On It!!

Hey Big Guys Stuffed Waffles fans, loyal customers, and DoorDash dashers – THANK YOU for your patience!

We’re actively working around the clock with both Google Business Profile and DoorDash support to correct our exact location pin. The glitch is sending dashers to a nearby residential address (across the way on the same road number), causing understandable frustration for those neighbors – dashers knocking and waiting for orders that aren’t there.


DASHERS & 1st time customers Our diner is EASY to spot:

• Grey building on Route 111 in Arundel, ME
• Use the bold YELLOW “TRUCK TO TABLE” sign with green lettering (right nearby) as your reference point to find us – Big Guys Stuffed Waffles & More!
• Open flag near the entrance when we’re serving those epic stuffed waffles

Please SHARE this with any dashers you know and PLEASE SHARE this post – head to the grey building with yellow sign/green lettering.

Please help us achieve NO more driveway mix-ups !!
These neighbors don’t deserve this inconvenience and to them we sincerely apologize.
