Contrary to what you might think, they are not! They are actually the edible seed of a fruit, like a cherry or an olive. Perhaps it’s this enigma that gives pistachios their allure and makes them one of best flavors for gelato: earthy, rich and indulgent, definitely a treat worth savoring! The Dante mobile kitchen is on the move this weekend 🍷

Saturday night we’re headed to Bottles & Barrels in Elkhorn, then Sunday we’ll be at Cellar 426 Winery in Ashland with live music and a full lineup of food coming out of the mobile kitchen.

This weekend’s menu includes the following and more:
• Risotto w/ pesto
• Casarecce pasta w/ braised pork & black pepper
• Fried squid & potatoes
