“Selamat Datang” or welcome to my SeraiMas, Malaysian Food Catering page. I am Alice Koh, a Straits Born Chinese or Peranakan Nyonya from Malacca (Melaka), Malaysia. “Peranakan” refers to a person of mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage. With this heritage and cultural background, food is essentially a way of life. I am excited to introduce Malaysian cuisines to Spokane by cooking and catering at Feast World Kitchen.

I am excited to start SeraiMas food journey back at the Thursday Market on South Perry Street this Thursday, June 4th. This Farmer's Market holds a special place in my heart. It was where I was first introduced to cooking on site 5 years ago with Feast World Kitchen. Tiffany and Isa ( Las Delicias De Isa ) were my mentors. Hibra (of Amenethiopiancafe) grounded me whenever nervous energies took over. Friends support were crucial. I would like to thank EVERYONE who contributed to our success. This is my 3rd year setting up booth. My ever supportive husband, Shane is there whenever I need help. Our Feast family has extended to include Entisar (of Isthar Family Food) in this market. We made friends with other vendors, and the organizer (Anna and Karyna, plus their kids) are so supportive. A shoutout to them for accommodating to my twice monthly presence in the market. I appreciate being given a spot to share Malaysian cuisines. I am excited to see familiar faces and fellow foodies.
