The Historic Woods Landing Resort The Woods Landing Resort bar and cafe is a historic log building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Located on the Big Laramie River, we offer a fully furnished guest house, luxury log cabins, rustic log cabins, and RV spaces for rent. We also have a general store and post office.

September’s Date Night is coming up! It’s a great excuse to get away, maybe explore the Medicine Bow National Forest, start to see some fall colors, and of course, enjoy some delicious food!

Date Night will be September 19th, here at Woods Landing, beginning at 5 PM.

The menu as follows:

Appetizer— Panko Crusted Cheesy Chicken Basil Bites with Marinara ~$12

Entrée—
•1st Course of Lobster Bisque Soup and a Razor Clam Tagliatelle pasta with White Wine Sauce and Pecorino
•Main course of 10oz Eye of Ribeye with Black Cumin Dry Rub and an Aromatic Red Wine Butter Sauce served with Romanesco ~$80

Dessert— Vanilla Crème Brulee with Dark Chocolate Cherry Bottom ~$10

Appetizer and dessert are optional/ allowed to be split amongst people.

Remember that we serve our regular menu on Date Nights up until 3 PM. Reservations only after that point.

A few notes to keep in mind this weekend:

~ Friday ~
We will be closing kitchen service to the public at 7 PM for a private gathering. Bar service will remain open until 8 PM as usual.

~ Saturday ~
Date Night starts at 5 PM and we only have a few spots left if you’re interested in making a reservation.
Kitchen will close to the general public at 3 PM to allow for food prep and event set up.

~ Sunday ~
From 11 - 2, we will be open for bar service only while the Big Laramie Valley Volunteer Fire Department hosts their annual burger bash gathering on our property. Be sure to stop in and show your support! Regular kitchen service will resume at 2 PM.

A reservation-only event starting @5 PM at Woods Landing.

We will be serving:

-Appetizer: Chorizo Corn Bite
(Crispy warm tortilla topped with chorizo, corn salsa and cilantro lime crema) ~ $14

-Entree Starter: Scallion Potato Cake topped with poached lobster tail and creamy tomato lemon sauce

-Main Entree: 5 oz Beef Tenderloin with chimichurri butter and a slice of poached Romanesco and onion
~ Starter & main ~ $74

-Dessert: Pot-De-Crème (rich, creamy custard) with raspberries ~ $12

We are closing early tonight at our restaurant— 7:30 PM.

To our current guests staying at Woods Landing Resort, we ask that today (8/7/26) you do not light campfires near your cabins or RV sites. 🔥
As is evident from the haze and smoke-filled air, fire danger is high, and we are currently under a red flag warning with high winds expected today and into the nighttime. Our creek has dried up and the Big Laramie River is extremely low, making fire suppression in the case of an emergency very challenging and risky.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
