In a couple of weeks, I will be going on a little adventure!

We’ll be closing for a few days while I head to New York to spend time with my daughter Izzy and her main squeeze Caleb.
There will be Broadway lights, flea markets, & beautiful old buildings.
Im so excited!! I will gather fresh inspiration, and maybe a few vintage finds tucked into my suitcase! 🩷

The Little Pink House will be closed July 22–28th.
We will reopen on Wednesday the 29th.

Well…

I completely forgot to post our weekly specials because you all kept us BUSY! ❤️

And honestly? That’s a wonderful problem to have.

This week we’re serving:
🤍 Shredded Mississippi Chicken with melted Swiss on a toasted ciabatta
🌽 Shrimp Corn Chowder
🍓 Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

Some of my high school friends stopped by the Little Pink House today, and it sure made my heart happy.

Lisa made the trip all the way from Alabama.
We were so busy that I barely got a chance to sit and visit, but somehow it didn’t matter. We just picked right back up where we left off, like no time had passed at all.

Life takes us in different directions, but the good ones always seem to find their way back to each other.
I love you all so much! ❤️

This week we’re serving a smoked pork loin sandwich with our house-made cherry bourbon sauce, plus two summer desserts that taste like sunshine:
🍓 Fresh strawberries & blueberries over buttery pound cake with whipped cream
🫐 Homemade cheesecake topped with mixed berry compote.

We’ll be here through the 4th, so gather your favorite people and come celebrate with us. ❤️🏡

Well…
We got our “aprons” handed to us yesterday and we couldn’t be happier!!!
The Little Pink House was buzzing from open to close, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for choosing to spend your day with us, for filling our little pink house and patio with laughter, conversation, and happy bellies! 🌸

We were running, cooking, pouring tea, clearing tables, and doing our very best to keep up—and we loved every minute of it!
