Check out Vince as a young groom and beautiful mother… I’m following in my dad‘s entrepreneurial footsteps💌

It’s notifications like this that bring tears of joy to my eyes. 🥹💌

Knowing something I dreamed up and created with my own hands will soon be bringing a little nostalgia and joy to someone’s mailbox means more than I can say.

And seeing my mom & dad on their wedding day in the background makes this moment even sweeter. ❤️ My dad was an entrepreneur too, and I’d like to think a little of that dreamer in him lives on in me.

Here’s to following the little nudges of your heart… and seeing where they lead. 📬✨

Hey everyone! ❤️ This is Beth from the CrabCake Hotline SWFL food truck.

It’s been a while, and I wanted to reconnect with all of you who supported my dad, Vince, and our food truck over the years.

I think some of Dad’s entrepreneurial spirit rubbed off on me, because I’ve started a new little business called Memory Lane Mail. 📬❤️

It’s a monthly snail mail experience designed to bring back simpler times…each envelope is filled with a personally written letter by me, nostalgic stories, recipes, puzzles, and small surprises inspired by days gone by.

It’s perfect for anyone who loves nostalgia, and it also makes a thoughtful gift for parents, grandparents, friends, or anyone who’d enjoy a little joy in their mailbox each month. 💌

I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to follow in Dad’s footsteps and build something of my own. I know he’d be rooting me on. He was my biggest supporter in everything I’ve ever done 😇❤️

If you remember us from the CrabCake Hotline days, I’d love for you to check out my new adventure!

Psssst! I got a secret! 🤫
All hope is not lost! 🙌🏼🦀
Guess who’s making Vince’s famous Crab Cakes on the “East Coast” of Florida??

Vince’s son, Bob, who lives on the other side of the state, has been working with our Dad at our family restaurant up north, making the crab cakes right along side Vince for many many years.

He’s also one of the best long haul truck drivers on the road, ensuring that food and supplies are getting to Americans during this crazy time.
So when Bob heads home after a few weeks on the road, you can find him every 4 or 5 weeks at the Pavilion of Port Orange Farmers Market from 8-1pm selling Vince’s cooked & uncooked (take & bake) crab cakes. No platters. No sides or sauces. Just the crabcakes. Because let’s face it, that’s all that really matters, right? 🤩

So, if you still want to get your hands on Vince’s CrabCakes…mark your calendar for Jan 29th 8-1pm at the Pavilion at Port Orange Farmers Market. Take the ride over, bring a cooler and stock up. He sells out fast and he’s CASH ONLY🦀

We have had many requests so I will post here:
For Anyone Who Would Like To Reach Out To Vince, Via Regular Mail or Phone, And Wish Him a Happy Retirement, Please PM Us And We’ll Make It Happen. He’s not on social media so he’d prefer snail mail or a phone call. ☺️🦀❤️

Chef Vince is officially retired from the CrabCake business🦀.
CrabCake Hotline SWFL Food Truck has closed its doors and removed the key from the ignition, permanently.

Time for him to take off his toque blanche (chef’s hat), go fishing & enjoy full retirement after 60 years in the restaurant business. From Philly to Arizona, from North Jersey to South Jersey and now to SWFL, you have earned your rest, 10-fold🎣😎

Thank you to everyone who has supported him these last three years here in SWFL and in NJ at the brick & mortar restaurant for 30+ years. It was his pleasure meeting and serving you all.
God bless ❤️🦀 — at CrabCake Hotline SWFL Food Truck.
