The original agreement we negotiated in order to fly the Pride flag was that on July 1st we would put up an American flag on the flag pole. And that day has come. The Pride flag, while not flying outside, will be found inside Poppets from now on.

To the over a thousand of you from all over the states who have seen our Pride flag and responded with placing orders for beans or traveling to come in we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have shown up and proven to us that our dream of becoming a community space for all is a worthwhile dream to have. The Affirmation Station has been overrun with community support and love notes to each other and that’s what our dream is.

Our goal is to continue to always lift each other up which is why we’d like to extend a hearty welcome and free coffee to the original poster of Firebird Forums. Joe, we sincerely invite you to come on over and have a cup of coffee on us. You don’t need to change your beliefs. We just ask that you set aside hatred for a moment and come meet the community believes in loving and meeting everywhere where they are at.
