Sept 7th, 21st, and 28th at Massanutten Resort- Fall Favorites
Sept 13th 5pm at Well Hung in Gordonsville- Lady bug theme
Sept 20th 2:30pm at Bittersweet Java in Ruckersville - Octoberfest Theme

Hello Monday! It’s time for a personal post.

Today my husband head of:
😁🗣️extroverting
🧰🔨construction
🤗🧠Moral support
and many other things here at Brittney’s Kitchen is having ankle surgery.

This has lots of impacts big and small on our family and business over the next few weeks and months.

As a small family business we work all year without sick or vacation leave but we love it and wouldn’t give it up for anything! (Unless we win the Lottery that we don’t play 😂) We love all the relationships we have built and smiles we have seen. 😁

💕August was the HIGHEST month of sales all year and we are so grateful.

We have had lots of extra expenses in August as he has been working SUPER hard 👷‍♂️building a licensed kitchen in the basement. And we are SO SO grateful 🫶 for every cookie/macaron order, and cookie decorating attendees as that is helping fund this HUGE project.

Today and over the next few weeks will you say a prayer for James as he recovers?

I look forward to contining to create beautiful and delicious treats for your events, gifts, fundraisers, just because, and of course spending time with you when you attend a cookie decorating class or event with us!

I have been using this swirl coloring a lot more this summer and I’m thinking about doing an orange one and making a 🎃 pumpkin cheesecake macaron for fall! Come see us in Madison September 5th for the Taste of the Mountain Festival and the launch of our fall flavor macarons and sugar cookies! 💕🍂

In the photos are blue swirl macaron before and after baking. They were filled with a blueberry cheesecake buttercream.

Last weekend I got to spend some time with a special birthday girl who was walking into Chapter 13! She loves reading so that was the base for designing her class.
She has been a HUGE help in the bakery coming over and helping measuring ingredients, packaging, making dough, and over all being a great assistant the last year or so!
