Thank y'all for showing up tonight! Tears may have been shed more than once for your generosity and at one point it was like a Heartland Great Banquet family reunion with the Knosts, Skidmores, Glicks and Eric Cashler all stopping by at the same time! We saw new faces, return faces from our last time here and lots of regular friends who we know we can always count on. We appreciate every single one of you and hope you feel that when you step in front of our truck. Thank you again. 🥹

Another food truck family Spudz Dude came by tonight with a generous order and with friendly faces and good attitudes! We've seen them around the area and have wanted to try their food! Who doesn't love baked potatoes and Busch's baked beans?! They have even more than that! Check out their page! Support local! It's so fun talking to fellow food truck owners who get what it's like to do what we do. Sometimes we take notes from each other, give one another advice or just talk about our business. JDC BBQ stopped by tonight to try our food and offer some encouragement! They are weekend warriors like ourselves, both working full time jobs and running their food truck on the weekends. They'll be out at Visiting Angels soon so give them a follow and try their food! We know we will soon! We've ALWAYS loved food trucks long before we owned one and these two were both incredibly friendly! Love seeing others push to reach their goals. We've had some new friends over the last few weeks that said they usually don't give food trucks a try because they're worried that they're dirty and it makes them leery. Fortunately they've given us a try and we've allowed them to check into the doors as we cook. We try our best to keep everything as clean as we can, we temperature test our foods, wear gloves and change gloves often, and we keep our hair pulled back. I hope that by us being transparent it will help you, if you're a little leery too, to give food trucks a try! There's a lot of great food trucks around here! Many of us are weekend warriors also working full time jobs and our food trucks are so special to us. If you have ANY questions feel free to ask!

George and I have the absolute best kids we could have ever asked for. When we wanted to make George's dream happen of owning a food truck both kids were excited and very determined. But when it actually came true I was wondering if they would still be just as determined because owning and running a food truck is a lot of work, a lot of heartache sometimes, a lot of not being able to have fun plans, and sometimes disappointment. But I just dropped them off at our commissary to finish prepping a couple things that we need for our event tonight and woke them both up early this morning to do so and they were nothing but smiles and good attitudes! They both hugged me more than once and told me how much they love me and how excited they are for tonight. They are hoping that with our food truck events we'll be able to open our pool this year and get a new car to pull the food truck. But they still have good attitudes and are realistic by not being upset if that doesn't happen because sometimes how we think things are going to happen isn't actually how it happens. So although the last few weeks have been some heavy weeks I sit here fully grateful for my husband, my children, all of you, God, and just this life I'm living. It's a beautiful day out I hope you all make the best of it!

Tonight we will be in Anderson again at Visiting Angels! Please come see us and help us make this night a home run! We are praying that we can use the money from our event tonight to put down on a truck for George. In the last two months we've lost three vehicles. The small car George drove to and from work is done for because of something that busted and our mechanic friend said it's not fixable. Then George and Braxton got in that accident a month ago and then on the way to work now George's truck's radiator busted and he's hoping to get in and get it fixed. Last week we cancelled because of this rash that I had all over. So tonight if you're hungry please come see us! ❤️ We're keeping our heads up but we could really use a win tonight. Love you all and we appreciate you!

Thank you all for your prayers for Cherl. She had folliculitis and got put on antibiotics. She's been on them for five days now and is good to go! We can't wait to see you all again in.........

Unfortunately we are cancelling our event today. Cherl is having an allergic reaction to something or has a viral rash all over her arms and now her legs. We want to make sure it's not contagious and also get her relief. Thank you for understanding.
